AVID Australia is delighted to celebrate its first four Demonstration Schools—each with more than 13 years of implementation. These four schools completed a rigorous validation process evidenced by the independent evaluation by Dr Pete Goss. The schools serve as exemplars for implementing school improvement with consistent high-quality over time through targeted professional learning to achieve schoolwide advancement of student outcomes and teaching quality. These four schools are in the top 3% of AVID schools worldwide and one of the four best AVID schools in Australia.
